NEW TUTORIAL!! Cute Spring Fever

 



It has been a while since my last tutorial. I just got the itching to do one, so here you go! 


Here is what we will be making:







My Kits: Spring Fever located HERE.

and Spring Cuties located HERE.  

My Mask #1377 is HERE.


I used an old tube from Creo. The site is down now, please find a suitable image.

Drop Shadow of choice.

Font Used:  Alice In Wonderland.


Okay, Let's Start! 


Image 800x800 transparent. You can resize later.


Copy and paste SF_7 from the Spring Fever kit onto the canvas.

Mask from image with source luminance checked, find the mask, and click okay.

Merge, merge group.

Resize this layer to 90%.

House from the Spring fever kit, resized to 70%. 

Pathway, from the same kit,  do not resize. Place the pathway in front of the house. 

Pink Tree from Spring Fever kit resized to  65%.

Arch resized to 70%.  

Hummingbird from Spring Cuties, resized to 30% and mirrored. 

Place above the flowers.

Blue_Wildflowers from Spring Cuties, resized to  40%.  

Bird_Log from Spring Cuties, resized to 30%.  

Bear on log from Spring Cuties, resized to 50%.

I placed this to the left of the arch.

Bunny_1 from Spring Cuties, resized to 30%.

Arrange your element layers the way you like them..

Resize, if you wish. I resized mine to 600x600. 


Add your text and your credits. 

Done!

I Love Mom

  


 Here is what we will be making today:





Supplies need are as follows:

My Mother’s Day Kit I love Mom HERE.


My Sparkle LLM_1415 mask Here:  SPARKLY MASKS 

Add your drop shadow as you go along.

I used 2, -2. 0, Black. 

I used Silent Reaction font, White background with Blue 1.0 Stroke.



 

Ready? Let’s Start!

Open Frame 2, Shift D to Duplicate it. Close the original.

Copy and paste Paper two as a new layer.

Move this layer below the frame layer. Add LLM Mask 1415 from image, and merge group.

Duplicate and mirror.

Close off the frame layer, add a new layer and move it below the frame layer.

Open pp 9, click inside the frame with magic wand, select all modify, expand to at least 15.

I expanded to 25. Copy and paste Paper 9 into selections on the new layer. Select none.

Add the sparkles, resize to 80%. Move to the right side. Move this layer below the frame layer. Duplicate this layer and mirror. Add your tube or you can use the Mom and baby image in my kit as I did. I did not resize this image.

Go to the top layer and add your elements. This is where you use your imagination.

I do allow you to mix elements from my kits on your tags, too!

I used Cute_Lil_Bear, Resized to 50% and moved it to the left side of the tag.

Envelope, resized 50% and move it to the right side of the tag.

Bell Flower Resized 50% placed on left.

Bell Flower_1 Resized 50%. Placed on Right

BELL FLOWERS Resized 50% and rotated right 90%, place on bottom of frame, covering the two flowers in the middle. See my tag for placement.

I re-sized my tag to 80% BEFORE adding any copyright information and and saved it as a png.

Spring Fever Tutorial

 


Here is what we will be making:

 

 


Supplies:

My Kit Spring Fever HERE.

A Mask of choice or the mask I used is LLM_1359 found on my blog HERE.


Springtime Sarah  by Myriadelle. You can find her at DEVIANT ART.

Open a transparent image 800x800. We can resize later.

Paper of choice or use my choice. I used paper BG: SF_7

Apply your mask. Duplicate this layer.

 

Copy and paste the house as a new layer and resize to 75%. Move it up near the top of the canvas.

Flowered Fence resized to 70%. Move this one a little to the right and

To the way you like it.  Duplicate and mirror.

Copy and paste the hillside element and slightly below the house layer. Make sure this layer is

 under the house layer with the flowers showing on the side of the house.

Flower Cart mirrored and resized to 50%. Place on the right.

Pathway. Not resized. Place towards middle.

Archway Not resized. Place in the middle where 

the pathway starts. Also, make sure your flower

cart is noticeable behind it.

Vine  85%. Place on the Archway entrance. Duplicate and mirror.

Make sure the duplicate is on the entrance on the other side.

Grass and Rocks resized to 70. Place on the bottom right.

Old Flower Can Resized to 50%. Place to the right side of the archway. 

Make sure this element is not fully covering the grass and rocks.

Work Gloves Resized to 25%. On or near the can.

Kitty In a pot resized to 35%. Place to the left of the archway.

Myriadelle TUBE or tube of choice, Resized to 50% and mirrored.

Place your tube where you want, I placed mine in the middle of the canvas.

 

Add your copyright for the tube. Also, add your tag’d by line if you want.

 

Size to your liking, and save as a png. I resized mine by 80%.

Cute & Spooky Tutorial

 





 

You will need the following supplies. If you can't get them

then do the best you can by obtaining similar supplies or supplies

of your own choice. 


My kit, Spooky Cute. You can find it on my blog HERE.

Your own word art or My WordArt HERE.

It is the last one named “Too Cute To Spook”.

A tube of choice. I used the witch and a cat by Tooshtoosh HERE.

The site was down at the time of me writing this tutorial.

A mask of choice or my mask LLM-Mask-1259 HERE.  

Halloween Nightmare font at Dafont.com HERE.


I also used Xenofex 2 constellation. This is a paid plug in and hard to find.  

If you do not have it, do not worry. The tag really does not need it.

 

Open a transparent image at 800x800. You can resize later.

Copy and paste paper 9 as a new layer. Add your mask  from image and merge group.

OPTIONAL:

Duplicate the mask layer and add  Xenofex 2 constellation. Adjust your settings to the

way you like it on your canvas. I would show you my settings, but 

I forgot to take a screenshot of them.  :(


Copy and paste the white moon and move it to the upper right part of your tag.

I added the sparkles, moved it near the top, duplicated and flipped, and moved the

Copy towards the bottom of my tag.

For the leaves, I used the raster deform tool to smash them down, duplicated a few times 

and moved them around to make it look like they were covering the ground.

You can also find some free CU leaves on the internet.

There are also some leaves in my Happy Halloween Kit HERE,

if you want to use them. Resize them to fit your tag and to your satisfaction.

 

Grass: I colorized this to green and did not resize it. Duplicate and

 mirror make it look like it is going across the tag behind the house.

Tree 2 resized 75%.

Spooky tree, do not resize. Place it next to the other tree.

Grass_1  resized 50%.

Grass_3 resized 50%.

Scary House resized 50%.

Transparent ghost resized to 50% and mirrored, then resized 75%.

Bat resized to 40%.

Ghost resized to 25.

Ghost with trick or treat bag resized to 25%.

Pumpkin resized to 25%.

Pumpkin with hat resized to  25%.

Pumpkin_3 resized to 25%.

Haunted flying bats resized to 35%. Place them up around the moon.

Toosh Toosh Cat resized to 30% and mirrored.

Toosh Toosh Witch is not resized. Place near the cat with 

the cat looking like it is looking at the witch.


Too Cute To Spook WA resized to 75%.  For the word art, I took my selection tool and 

separated the words.  Too Cute and To Spook. I also added a gradient glow.

 

Now resize your tag and make sure everything is arranged the way you like it.

Add your name and copyright for the image(s) you use.

I used Halloween Nightmare with a paper, black stroke at two.

Fall Bounty Tutorial

 

 




Free Kit Fall Bounty by Tiny Turtle Designs HERE.

You will need to register at the store if you are not already registered.

 

My mask 1179 HERE.

It is the 4th one down.

Tube StellaFelice7 Sleeping fox tube at Pics for Design.

 

 

Are you ready? Let’s start!


Open a new blank image, 800x800. You can resize it later.

Copy and paste Tiny Turtles Fall Bounty Paper 18 as a new layer.

Layers, new mask layer, add mask, LLM mask 1179 from image. 

Layers, merge, merge group.

Stella Feliz, Sleeping Fox resized to 30%.

Element 5 Resized to 35%.

Element 95 Resized to 20%. Move to one side then Duplicate and mirror.

Element 96 Resized to 15%. Move to one side then Duplicate and mirror.

Element 2 resized to 25%. Move to one side then Duplicate and mirror.

 

Element 6 resized to 15 and image rotate 90%. Move middle and duplicate and mirror. I put one so that it looks like it is on top of the other.

Element 16 resized to 15%. Move to one side then Duplicate and mirror.

Element 46 Resized to 40%. Duplicate. Click on bottom one and add gradient glow and noise if you want.

ELEMENT 68-Resized to 25% Free rotated right 25 percent.

ELEMENT 62-Resized to 25%   Free rotated left 25 percent.

Element 116-Resized to 50%. Make sure this element stays on the top layer.

Now, arrange your tag to the way YOU like it. Resize if you want to.

Add your name, copyright, and license number if you need one.

 

I saved mine as a PNG.

Days of Old Tutorial

 




 

Yes, Here I am with another tutorial. I hope you like it.

The supplies I used are as follows:

 

Molemina Scrapkit Old time HERE.

Unfortunately, the Scrapkit is no longer available.

Please use a suitable replacement if you do not have the kit.

MC_Mask2 from Melissa’s Creationz HERE.

The mask is no longer available, so you will need a mask of choice if you don’t 

already have it. I am sure any mask will do.

2 Kajenna tubes at Pics For Design Taylor and Steampunk Cat.

 

 New image, 1000x1000.  We will resize it later.

New layer. Select all and copy and paste a paper of choice or paper 4 into selections. You can also just paste it as a new layer, up to you.

Add your mask or MC_Mask2 from image.

Merge, Merge group. Layers, duplicate, image, mirror.

Cluster 5 resized to 40%.

Magic Wand, set on add, click inside the frame, and expand selections to 15. Add a new layer below the frame and copy and paste the paper into selections.

I used the Kajenna tube (Taylor) and mirrored it.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, and position it in the frame the way you want it above the paper layer. Selections, Invert, Delete, then select none.

I also added another tube by Kajenna, called Steampunk. It is the cat tube. This goes above the Frame layer. I resized mine to 25%.

Element 90 resized to 40%. Free rotate to the right to 25.

Duplicate, Image, mirror image. Move this copy closer to the frame and place it to where you like it.

Element 29 (Rose) resized to 25%. Rotated 30%.

Duplicate this layer and mirror placing it on top of the other one.

Element 40-Magnifying glass resized to 10% and mirror it.

Add any other elements you want.
Resize to your liking. I resized mine by 75%.

I added the dust layer from the Taylor tube and resized it to 25%.

I also added the ring after resizing- Element 81 resized to 10%. I also mirrored this image.

Now, add your text. I used Old English Text Font. I believe it came with my PSP.

There is a similar Olde English Font at Dafont.com HERE.

Don’t forget your copyright and license if needed.

 

I saved mine as a PNG image.

Happy Halloween Tutorial

 

With Halloween around the corner, I decided to create a Halloween tutorial. 

I used my Halloween kit, Happy Halloween. Although I believe any kit will do.

Any Halloween Tube. I used Lia. I do not know where to get her images anymore.

A mask of your choice or my Mask 1240 HERE.

Midnight Drive Font HERE.

A mask of your choice or Scrappy Bit of Fun Mask 0354  HERE.

Extra grass patch HERE. (Scroll down).


Here is what we will be making:




 

Got everything you need? Okay! Lets begin! 

Open a new image 800 x 800. Add a new layer, select all.

Copy and paste Paper 6 into selections. Deselect.

Add mask from image and merge group.

Add another layer and copy and paste Paper 1 into selections. Deselect.
Add mask from image and merge group.

Resize this layer to 85%.

Add a new raster layer, select all and paste Paper 1 into selections. Deselect.

Add Scrappy Bit of Fun’s mask 0354 from the image and merge the group. I resized this layer 95%.

Actually, it is not necessary to add all three layers of masks. You can always 

delete one or two if you do not like the way the tag looks. 

 Castle resized to 70%.

Tree 2 resized to 50%.

Tree (2) resized to 40%. Put this layer under the Castle layer.

Bat resized to 35%. Move it to the top near the moon.

I put a Lia Tube on the moon and resized it to 35%.

The fox Lia tube is resized to 25%. I also mirrored it.

And what is a Halloween tag without a ghost? I chose Ghost 1 and resized it to 40%. I also lowered the layer properties to 75.

I also put this layer under the castle layer. See my tag above.

I also added Ghost with pumpkin and resized it to 40%. I also put this layer under the castle layer.

Pumpkins resized to 40%.

Grass_1 resized to 15%. I colorized this element to brown.  Colorizing this element is NOT a necessity.

I also added the extra grass patch. I resized it to 30% and put it under the pumpkins layer.

Squirrel resized to 30%.

Highlight the Tree 2 layer.

Copy and paste Pumpkin 3 and resize it to 50%.

Copy and paste Pumpkin 2 and resize it to 40%.

Highlight your top layer and copy and paste Trick_Treat_Bag 1 as a new layer. I resized mine to 50

I added the Sparkles and Sparkles-1 elements. I did not resize the Sparkles elemet

I resized Sparkles-1 to 75%, duplicated it, image free rotated to 45.

Choose a moon. I chose Moon_1 and resized it to 35%. Move it to the top on one of the corners.

Add a gradient glow, or use the tutorial  HERE  for the gradient glow effect, if you do not have the effect. My settings are below. Play around with your settings and set to the one you like the best. I added mine two times. 







 

Now we are getting to the end.

Add any other elements you want.

Arrange the elements to the way YOU like them. (I hardly ever follow a tutorial 100%) 

I do not merge my layers in case I want to change something at a later date.

Add your names with a font of your choice or the one I

 mentioned in the beginning of this tutorial.

 Add your copyrights, then resize it

to your liking. I use Pixelette for my copyrights and my tag'd by line.

 

Save as a PNG or JPEG and you are done!

Abundance Of Fall


 

 

This tutorial is of my own creation. I am using PSP2021 Ultimate.

FTU Scrapkit from Designs by Shelly Woodruff, Abundant Blessings: HERE.

A mask of choice, or you can use my mask #107: HERE.

Kajenna tube from Pics For Design. It was a PFD bonus, and I don’t know if you can get one, unless you get into the exclusive club.

 

File new 800x800

Add a new layer, select all, get Paper 18 or one of choice and paste into selection. Add mask from image LLM-107, merge group.

Add Frame, element 124, resize to 80%.

Using magic wand, click inside frame, go to selections, and expand to 15.

Add a new layer. Layers, Arrange, move down. Get paper 14 or one of choice and paste into selection. Select none.

Paste tube on top layer as a new layer. I resized mine to 35% and mirrored it.

Element 5 resized to 15% below tube layer and above frame layer on left. Image, mirror, mirror horizontal.

Inside frame, add Element 115 resize to 65%. Duplicate, Image, Mirror, Mirror Horizontal and resize this layer to 65%.

Find a tree if you want. I found one from Pixabaycom. I resized mine to 35%.

Element 101 resized to 5%. Image, mirror, mirror horizontal. I moved mine to the top left corner of the frame.

Element 102 resized to 35%. Image, mirror, mirror horizontal. Arrange layer, to layer above the frame. Move element to corner of frame on right side of the tag.

Click on Frame layer. Copy and paste Element 67 as a new layer, and I resized to 90%. Duplicate, Image, mirror, mirror horizontal.

Element 83 resized to 30%. Move layer to layer just below tube layer.

Element 73 resized to 30%. Move layer to layer just below tube layer.

Element 119 resized to 30%. Move to top of frame in the middle and move layer under the tube layer.

I also added the background of my tube and placed it under the tree layer and resized it 50%, two times.

Add any other elements you want and make it your own!

I never merge my layers. I advise you to do the same.

This way you can always save it and change whatever you want to

in the future.

 

Add your watermark if you wish, and make

sure you add the copyright for the image you used.

 

I saved mine as a PNG image.

You are done!

New Tutorial! --- Tranquil

Tube of Choice. I chose a tube by Lia.

Font of choice. I used Playball font. 
Mask 569 by me HERE.


Ok...Yas ready? Let's begin!


Open a new image-size of choice. I made mine 630x630.

Using my Pot Pourri Paper 15 and Mask 569, copy and paste the paper on the bottom 
layer. Now add my mask or a mask of choice to the paper. Merge,
Merge group. I also used the Manual Color Correction tool 
and changed the colors from #5187ca  to  #00c0c0.
Resize to 85% and move to one side. Duplicate and mirror.

The elements I used are as follows:

From my kit:

Sun resized to 50%.
My Grass resized to 50%.  Recolor if you want.  Resize
to 85% and move to one side. Duplicate and mirror
or position to the way you like it.
Tree from my Potpourri kit resized 75%.
Tube of choice. Resize to desired size to fit adequately on your tag.

From the elements by Nellie:
Autumn resized to 12%.
Branch resized to 15%.  Duplicate and mirror. Rotate  45 to left and resized to 60%.
Duplicate this one and mirror as well.
Basket resized to 15%.
Plum resized to 13%.
Apples resized to 12%.

Here is where I used the Playball font to add my own wordart and names.
So, be creative and add whatever you want!

I never merge my layers. I advise you to do the same.
This way you can always save it and change whatever you want 
in the future.

Add your watermark if you wish, and make 
sure you add the copyright for the image you used.

I saved mine as a PNG image.
You are done!

Ghostly Cute Spooks







My Cute Spook Kit HERE.
My Kit "Ghostly Pumpkins"  HERE.

My Mask #648 HERE  on my blog.


Open an image- size of choice. 
Open Paper of choice- I chose paper 7. 
Add a new layer. Copy and paste it into selection- Deselect.
Add you mask. Layers, merge, Merge group.
Copy and paste your elements of choice.


 Grass Patch resized to 85%-I duplicated mine a few times 
and arranged them to the way I liked them. 
Moon 35%.
Ghosts from "Ghostly Pumpkins" Duplicate a time or
two to darken the background.
Tree  25%.
Bat1 Resized to 25%.
Bat Resized to 30%.
Tombstone 2 Resized to 25%.
Owl Resized to 25%.
Tombstone 1-30%.
Cat On Pumpkin -- 55%
Pumpkin 1 Resized to 45%
I merged some Leaves together and  resized them to 25%.   
    Duplicate and spread around
grass area, above and below the tube layer.

Ghost- (The one I used was in my brushes.  I am not sure where I got it from, so
I am unable to share it. Please use a substitute brush or tube. )


Resize and arrange the elements to the way you like them.
Crop and/or resize your tag to your liking.

Add your watermark if you wish, and make 
sure you add the copyright for the image you used.
Add your name or name(s) of whoever you want.

Summer Living









I used the awesome work of Popeye Wong. The 
tube is called Sandy Joy.  You can find his awesome work
HERE and his tubes HERE.
My kit, Summer Things, HERE on the Creative Chicks blog.

Two of my masks LLM 616 and LLM 584 on my blog HERE.
Mura Meister Copies or a Sand Tube.
For the name layer, I used Unthrift Second Personal font.

Are yas ready! Ok! Let's begin!

Open an image-use size of choice,....I chose 700x700.
Select all, add  a new layer, copy and paste paper 13 into selection.
Add  My mask 616 or a mask of choice.
Layers, Merge, Merge group. Resize to 50%. Move to one side.  Duplicate and mirror.
Arrange these to layers to fit most of your canvas. 

Select all, add  a new layer, copy and paste paper 9 into selection.
Add  My mask 584 or a mask of choice.

Layers, Merge, Merge group. Resize to 50%. Move to one side.  Duplicate and mirror.
Arrange these to layers to fit most of your canvas. 
Now click on your top mask layer.  Copy and paste my sand as a new layer and 
resize it to fit around the size of the two beach scene layers. 
For the sand layer beneath my tube's feet:
Click on the layer under the beach scene layer. Grab your freehand tool and
draw like a circle. Add a new layer and use the same Murameisther cloud settings.  
I also added noise --setting at 20. Deselect.

Now we add our elements. I used:

Sun Resized to 50%.
Speedboat resized to 50%.
Dolphin  Resized 45%.
Beach Scene. Move to one side.  Duplicate and mirror.
Now click on your top mask layer. 
This next step is optional, and if you do do it, it can be done different
ways.  You can either find a suitable sand element of choice and leave it as is.
 Or you can do it the way I did:
Copy and paste my sand element as a new layer .
Select all float defloat, Mura meister copies, sand with the settings below. 
Alwalys remember, if you want, you can play 
around with the settings to get the look you want.
I only did the above step with my sand element because I wanted to have more 
sand of a similar color. 

Pail resized to 20%. Add a few sea shells and the starfish.  Resize them all about 15% to 20%. 
I Resized Sea Shell 1 to 12%.
Beach Ball Resized to 20%.
Add your tube of choice, if you wish, anywhere you see fit.


Resize and arrange the elements to the way you like them.
Crop and/or resize your tag to your liking.

Add your watermark if you wish, and make 
sure you add the copyright for the image you used.
Add your name or name(s) of whoever you want.
