Love Fairy

For the above tag, I used the following supplies:

Tube by  Lia, located HERE

Mask by me. You will find it HERE on my blog.

Midnight Fairy kit by Melissa

The kit is no longer available. Please use a suitable replacement.

Template 823 by Millie  HERE.

Font is Alice in Wonderland Font from Dafont.

Read? Ok! Let's Start!

Shift D to Duplicate your template.  Delete or hide raster layer 10 (credits layer).
Go to Image, Canvas Size and resize your canvas to 700x700
or size of preference.

I start from the bottom.

Click on your background layer and unhide it.
Fill with white.
Select all, add a new layer. Copy and paste a paper of
choice into selection. I chose paper  1.
Add your mask or the mask I used- LLM-395.
Layers-Merge- Merge Group. You may need to
use your raster deform tool to close the mask around the template layers.
I first resized mine by 95% and then used my raster deform tool to surround the mask layer closer to the template layers.
Raster 1 --click on the oval with your magic wand. Add a new layer and copy
and paste a paper of choice into selection. I chose paper 7.

Raster 2 - Repeat the above step using different paper. I chose paper 5. Do not deselect just
yet!  I added another layer and copy and pasted paper 2 into selections. I then set the layer
properties at overlay. Now deselect! LOL

For raster 3, I duplicated a couple of times to make it bolder.
Rasters 4, 5. 6, and 7 -- Repeat the step used for Rasters 1 and 2 using a paper of choice.
I chose paper 4.
For layer 8, I duplicated it, and on the bottom layer I used a thick gradient glow. I also added noise.
If you do not have the Eye Candy plug in, you can also use the method I used for adding the borders around the templates. That explanation is below.
For layer 9, I left as is.
I also added a border around the template layers.
For each layer I expanded each layer by 3 for the larger layers, and 2 for the circle layers.
Then I added a new layer UNDER the paper layers and filled with white and added
noise at 100.

Elements I used are:

Element 3 Resized to 40%.
Element 4 Resized to 50%.
Element 7 Resized to 50%.
Element 19 Resized to 75%. Duplicate, Image mirror, and flip.
Element 20 Resized to 50%. Duplicate, Image mirror.
E  22 Resized to 50%. Duplicate, Image mirror.
E 28. I did not resize.
I also found a grass element from another kit of Melissa's and
colorized it to suit my tag.

Add any elements you wish-- Make this tag yours!

Add drop shadow of your choice. I use 1, -1, 50, 0  Black. Shadow on new layer NOT checked.

Add your watermark if you wish, and make
sure you add the copyright for the image you used.
Add your name or name(s) of whoever you want.
For my name, I duplicated the layer and on the
bottom layer added a yellow Fat Gradient glow.
I also added a drop shadow of 1, -1, 5, 0.
I saved mine as a PNG image.
You are done!

This tutorial was inspired by a challenge I did in
my group I moderate for, The Creative Chicks.

Open your template, Shift D to duplicate it.
Close the original.

For putting the papers on the layers (unless otherwise specified),
I clicked on them with my magic wand and pasted the paper over
the layer. ( You can also have the layer selected, go to Selections,
Float, Defloat, then past the paper as a new layer onto your Canvas)
Selections, invert and deleted the excess paper.

Ready? Okay....Let's Start!

I started from Bottom Layer:

New Layer Copy and paste Paper 14 into selections.
Deselect and add my mask from image.
Layers-Merge-Merge group.
Move to one side. Then, I duplicated and mirrored it.

For Strip 2,  I used Paper 10--Resize by 55 %.
( I moved the paper part I wanted to show over the layer).

( I moved the paper part I wanted to show over the layer).

For the small Circle, I used Paper 13.
I added a new raster layer and  pasted it into selections.

Smaller Dotted Circle--Manual color correction to white.

For the Large Circle, I used Paper 13. I added a
new raster layer and  pasted it into selections. Now,
make a new raster layer then expand selections by 3, floodfill with
white. Deselect.
Now move this layer under your paper. Add noise to your
satisfaction. I used 100% .

Resize cluster  Frame 5  by 85% and put over your Paper 13 layer.

Merge Backs 1, 2 and 3 together.   Select all float, defloat, copy and paste
Paper 16 as a new layer resize by 55%,   Selections invert, delete..
Now, make a new raster layer then expand selections by 3 and  floodfill with white.
Deselect. Now move this layer under your paper. Add noise to your
satisfaction. I used 100% .

Hide or delete original layer and all three frames to the backs.

Toadstools-Resized 50% 2 times- Sharpen. See my tag to
see where I placed them.
For the Once upon a time wordart, I resized it by 50%.

Add your tube and resize to your liking.

I resized mine by 75%.
Find The Candy Treats-TwistedLightburst and  resize by 75%.
Put it on top of  the tag and place to your liking and
to where it shines a bit on your tube.

I also used the Sparklie dust and  resized it  by 75%- 2 times.
I also added some sparkles that I had, but I do
not remember where I got them. So I am not supplying them. Sorry.

Add your watermark and the proper credits to the artist.
I saved mine as a PNG image. Save yours to your liking.
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial!
