A Pirate's Treasure




Here Is what we will be making:





My supplies I used are:
Tube by Ted Hammond.     
I got mine from CILM before they closed.

I am not sure of where to find his tubes now, 
so any Pirate tube should be sufficient.

Pirate Ship font from  Dafont - Pirates.


Open your template and Shift D to duplicate. Close the Original.
Open your mask and minimize it or you may put it into your mask folder.
Start from bottom layer. New raster layer, choose a paper- I chose
Paper 16. Select all copy and paste your paper into selection. Deselect.
New mask from image or from disc and apply your mask. Layers-Merge-Merge group.
Adjust-Hue and Saturation-Colorize  Hue-140, Saturation 255. 
One step Photo fix to this layer. Duplicate this layer. 
Open both Palm Trees and resize them 50%. Copy and paste them onto your canvas.
Duplicate one and mirror it and arrange to your liking. The palm trees should below all of your template layers and above  your mask layer. 
Merge and copy of raster 11 down to Raster 11. Select all-float defloat new raster layer 
copy and paste a paper of choice into selection. 

Merge Raster 6 and copy of raster 6 - Follow the step above,
 but use Paper 12 or a paper of your choice.
Raster 4- Dotted line-colorized mine to white. I duplicated mine a couple of 
more times to bolden the layer so I can see it better.
For the following Paper layers - Select all-float defloat new raster layer 
copy and paste a paper of choice into selection. 

Raster 3 and Copy of Raster 3 - I used paper 8.       
Raster 9 -I used Paper 13.
Raster 2 -I used Paper 3.
Raster 1 - I used Paper 4.
Raster 5 -I used paper 15.
Raster 9 -- paper 13.
For Raster 7 I added noise to it.
Raster 8-- I used Paper 3.
Raster 10- I colored it to white and added noise to it. 


Elements I used (Feel free to use your own!):

Flying Parrot resized to 25%.
Ship resized to 50%.
I added my tube just above the ship.
Map 01-25%.
Map 02 resized to 20%.
Sword resized  35%.
Chest resized to 30%.
Compass resized to 15%.
Pelican-30%.
Add any other elements you want. 
Resize Your image to your liking. I cropped mine and ended up with mine at 630x630.
Add a new raster layer under this one and expand by 3. Fill with white or color of choice. Deselect. I also added noise at 100%.


Add your watermark if you wish, and make 
sure you add the copyright for the image you used.
Add your name or name(s) of whoever you want. 
For my name, I duplicated the layer and on the bottom layer added a Fat Gradient glow.
I also added a drop shadow of 2, -2, 5, 0. 
I saved mine as a PNG image.
You are done!

Sparkles. 
Drop shadow of choice.



New Image 600x600.

Copy and paste Frame 4- the clover frame onto your canvas. 
. Click inside frame and expand selections by 5. 
Selections Copy and paste paper 25 into selection or you can paste as a new layer. 
Keep selected. If you paste as a new layer invert selection and delete excess. 
Do not deselect. Invert and add a new layer. 
Go to Murameiser cloud-thin Clouds -- play around with the settings to your 
liking and apply. NOW you can deselect. 

I used Paper 21 of the kit for the mask layer
Grab your mask and paper 21. New layer on bottom, Select all copy and paste paper 21 into selection. Deselect. Add mask of choice  from image. or my mask that I used. 
Layers, merge, merge group.  

For my wordart I used Paper 21  and the font named above. 
 0.8 black stroke. Use your own settings if you wish. 
Make this tag YOURS! 


Here is how I did my wordart.....
Now draw a vector circle around your mask and frame...just a slightly bigger if you want. Not too much bigger. Leave it as a vector layer. New layer. Now take your text tool and point it where you want then you  will see your cursor change when it is on the vector circle. 
Add your text in the size that you prefer . If not positioned the place you want, undo and then redo it until you get your text to where you want it.  
Make sure you x out or delete the vector circle when you are done.
Add your tube and place it in or near the center, and resize it to where you like it and it fits best. 
Now add your elements.
Here are the ones I used:
Pot- 55%
Green Beer - 30%.
Clover - 20% Duplicate and resize as many times as you want.
Butterfly resized 45% Colorized 90/130.  Enhanced.     
Duplicate and resize as many times as you want. 

 Coins resized 45%  then 60% --Then rotated to right by 40.
I duplicated this one then resized by 60% . 
 Then rotated to it to the right by 40 .

Add your watermark if you wish, and make 
sure you add the copyright for the image you used.
Add your name or name(s) of whoever you want. 
For my name, I duplicated the layer and on the 
bottom layer added a Fat Gradient glow.
I also added a drop shadow of 2, -2, 5, 0. 
I saved mine as a PNG image.
You are done!

Blue Love




For the above tag, I used the following supplies:
Scrapkit-- A Very Blue Valentine by Heather's Devine Dezigns. 
You can find it  HERE.
I used a tube by Paul Sketcher at Pics For Designs
Mask 1 by Rachel HERE.
Font:   Love Joy font 

Ready? OK! Let's Start! 

Image 650x650.
Add a new raster later, Selections float
Copy and paste paper 7 of kit into selection. Deselect.
Find your mask from image or from disc and apply. Merge, Merge group.
Get El 20 which is the Heart frame and paste it onto your canvas.
 Re size it to your liking. I resized mine 80%.
Click inside your frame until you see the marching ants. 
Selections- expand by at 10. New raster layer under the frame
 layer, and copy and paste a paper  or texture of choice into selections.
(I used a texture by someone else. I do not have permission 
to share the texture at this time. I will add it if and 
when I get permission from the creator...sorry.) 
Deselect. 
Add your tube and resize it to where you like it and it fits best. 
Now add your elements. I used:
EL 5 Re-sized   25%. Move to one side, duplicate and mirror.
El 49- Re-sized 50%- Then 75%. 
EL 25- 35% Then I re sized it 80%.
Add any other elements you want.
If necessary, erase any part of your tube
 that hangs below your elements. 
Resize your tag to your liking.
I re-sized mine all Layers 95%. 


Add your watermark if you wish, and make 
sure you add the copyright for the image you used.
Add your name or name(s) of whoever you want. 
For my name, I duplicated the layer and on the 
bottom layer added a Fat Gradient glow.
I also added a drop shadow of 2, -2, 5, 0. 
I saved mine as a PNG image.
You are done!

With My Love



Here is what we will be making: 





My supplies I used are:
Free tube by Alfadesire from Pics for Design.

Kit by Scraps Dimensions called With Love here.

The scrapkit is not available because the Blog has been deleted.

Font used is Unthrift Second Personal.



Open a new image 600x600 transparent. Use a paper of your choice- I chose paper 3. Add a new layer and  Add a mask of choice or use the one I used. Layers merge group. I moved mine to the side and duplicated it, then image mirror. 
Frame 2 Resize 60%.  Take your selection tool and set it on freehand selection and draw around the top of the frame. 
When done, add a new layer and copy and paste a paper of 
choice - I chose paper 14 and paste it into selection. 
Move this layer under your frame. 

Copy and paste Scattered Hearts and resize it 50%. Move this layer up and over a bit and arrange this layer just above your mask layer. Duplicate it 3 more times arranging it so you can see some of the hearts  just outside the frame. See my tag for reference if needed.
Add your tube. Resize your tube to fit your tag properly and to your liking.
 I resized mine to about 60%. 

Elements and dimensions I used are as follows:

Embellishment 1 resized to 30%.
Pink wrap resized to 50%
Heart resized to 30%
Red Rose resized 60% two times. I duplicated mine about 5 times. 
White rose resized  60% two times. 
I duplicated it and mirrored it. Duplicate again and move
 this one over to right side. Duplicate and mirror.
Duplicate each rose as many times you want and arrange to your liking.
 I just told you how I did mine. 
Vix Wordart ---I did not resize. I duplicated it and on the 
bottom layer I added a gradient glow
and drop shadow. 
Add any other elements you want, drop shadow each
 element except the mask layer and resize the tag to your liking.
I left mine as is. 

Add your watermark if you wish, and make 
sure you add the copyright for the image you used.
Add your name or name(s) of whoever you want. 

For my name, I duplicated the layer and on the
 bottom layer added a Fat Gradient glow.
I also added a drop shadow of 2, -2, 5, 0. 
I saved mine as a PNG image.
You are done!

Sweet Reindeer



This is a tutorial I started before Christmas.
I just got it done and have time to post it. 


Here is what we will be making:



Supplies I used are as follows:

Millies Template # 726. You can find it HERE.
Gail Gastfield tube.   Her site HERE.

Scrapkit by Horsplay called On a Winter's Day Here.

It is the 2nd Kit in post.

Mask of choice, or you 
may use the one I used-- Mask  Miz mask 103. Here.
Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow. 
Font I used was Ar Blanca.
For all layers except otherwise stated select all, float de-float, copy and paste paper into selection. Duplicate and on bottom layer add a gradient glow. If you do not have this plug in, go HERE for the Alternate to Gradient Glow.

Got your supplies ready? Ok! Let's Begin! 
Get your template and Shift D to duplicate. Close the original. 
Image Re-size Canvas to 800x800.

Starting from the bottom:
Select all Select a paper of choice, I chose paper 5, copy and paste 
into selection. Deselect. Find your mask of choice from image or from 
disc and apply. Merge-Merge group. 

El 51- I resized mine to 80%. Duplicate a couple of times to help cover the bottom area
on most of the canvas. 
Now for your papers:
Raster 1- Paper 1.
Raster 2 - paper 2.
Raster 3-  Paper 11.
Raster 4 -  Paper 9.
Raster 5 -Paper 12.
Raster 6 - Adjust color balance- manual color correction  - click on Manual 
target color- Colors:  Source- white,  Target- to black. Click ok. 
After all papers are put on,  resize all layers to  75%.
Elements used:
El 2- resized to 25%.
EL 3 Resized to 25% then 50 %.  Duplicate a few times and arrange on tree. 
El 6 re-sized 50%. I placed mine on the right side of the tree.
Duplicate-Mirror. Place the mirrored copy on other side of tree.
El 9-15%. Duplicate a few times. Colorize them if you want.
El 10- resized to 50%.
EL 21- Resized to 40%.
El 29- Resize to 25%.
El 49 resized to 50%- Above Paper 2 layer.
EL 52-re sized to 50%.
EL 56- Resized to 20% and place  on top of tree.
El  38  -  Resize to 75%.
Add any other elements you want. 
Drop shadow  your layers except the mask layer. 

Add your watermark if you wish, and make 
sure you add the copyright for the image you used.
Add your name or name(s) of whoever you want.
I saved mine as a PNG image.

You are done!
