However, there is an alternate way to the gradient
glow for names or any element. This is excellent for those who do not
have the plug in and wish to have this effect for their names or elements.
Click on the layer that you want to have the Gradient Glow effect.
Select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer, selections modify expand by 1-3....whatever
you wish. Flood-fill this layer with color of choice. Deselect.
Move the layer under the name or element. Add drop shadow if you wish.
(You can also add noise, as I do to most of my paper layers!)
Good as Gradient Glow!
