Cute & Spooky Tutorial

You will need the following supplies. If you can't get them

then do the best you can by obtaining similar supplies or supplies

of your own choice.

My kit, Spooky Cute. You can find it on my blog HERE.

Your own word art or My WordArt HERE.

It is the last one named “Too Cute To Spook”.

A tube of choice. I used the witch and a cat by Tooshtoosh HERE.

The site was down at the time of me writing this tutorial.

A mask of choice or my mask LLM-Mask-1259 HERE.

Halloween Nightmare font at Dafont.com HERE.

I also used Xenofex 2 constellation. This is a paid plug in and hard to find.

If you do not have it, do not worry. The tag really does not need it.

Open a transparent image at 800x800. You can resize later.

Copy and paste paper 9 as a new layer. Add your mask  from image and merge group.

OPTIONAL:

Duplicate the mask layer and add  Xenofex 2 constellation. Adjust your settings to the

way you like it on your canvas. I would show you my settings, but

I forgot to take a screenshot of them.  :(

Copy and paste the white moon and move it to the upper right part of your tag.

I added the sparkles, moved it near the top, duplicated and flipped, and moved the

Copy towards the bottom of my tag.

For the leaves, I used the raster deform tool to smash them down, duplicated a few times

and moved them around to make it look like they were covering the ground.

You can also find some free CU leaves on the internet.

There are also some leaves in my Happy Halloween Kit HERE,

if you want to use them. Resize them to fit your tag and to your satisfaction.

Grass: I colorized this to green and did not resize it. Duplicate and

mirror make it look like it is going across the tag behind the house.

Tree 2 resized 75%.

Spooky tree, do not resize. Place it next to the other tree.

Grass_1  resized 50%.

Grass_3 resized 50%.

Scary House resized 50%.

Transparent ghost resized to 50% and mirrored, then resized 75%.

Bat resized to 40%.

Ghost resized to 25.

Ghost with trick or treat bag resized to 25%.

Pumpkin resized to 25%.

Pumpkin with hat resized to  25%.

Pumpkin_3 resized to 25%.

Haunted flying bats resized to 35%. Place them up around the moon.

Toosh Toosh Cat resized to 30% and mirrored.

Toosh Toosh Witch is not resized. Place near the cat with

the cat looking like it is looking at the witch.

Too Cute To Spook WA resized to 75%.  For the word art, I took my selection tool and

separated the words.  Too Cute and To Spook. I also added a gradient glow.

Now resize your tag and make sure everything is arranged the way you like it.

Add your name and copyright for the image(s) you use.

I used Halloween Nightmare with a paper, black stroke at two.

Yes, Here I am with another tutorial. I hope you like it.

The supplies I used are as follows:

Molemina Scrapkit Old time HERE.

MC_Mask2 from Melissa’s Creationz HERE.

The mask is no longer available, so you will need a mask of choice if you don’t

already have it. I am sure any mask will do.

2 Kajenna tubes at Pics For Design Taylor and Steampunk Cat.

New image, 1000x1000.  We will resize it later.

New layer. Select all and copy and paste a paper of choice or paper 4 into selections. You can also just paste it as a new layer, up to you.

Add your mask or MC_Mask2 from image.

Merge, Merge group. Layers, duplicate, image, mirror.

Cluster 5 resized to 40%.

Magic Wand, set on add, click inside the frame, and expand selections to 15. Add a new layer below the frame and copy and paste the paper into selections.

I used the Kajenna tube (Taylor) and mirrored it.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, and position it in the frame the way you want it above the paper layer. Selections, Invert, Delete, then select none.

I also added another tube by Kajenna, called Steampunk. It is the cat tube. This goes above the Frame layer. I resized mine to 25%.

Element 90 resized to 40%. Free rotate to the right to 25.

Duplicate, Image, mirror image. Move this copy closer to the frame and place it to where you like it.

Element 29 (Rose) resized to 25%. Rotated 30%.

Duplicate this layer and mirror placing it on top of the other one.

Element 40-Magnifying glass resized to 10% and mirror it.

I added the dust layer from the Taylor tube and resized it to 25%.

I also added the ring after resizing- Element 81 resized to 10%. I also mirrored this image.

Now, add your text. I used Old English Text Font. I believe it came with my PSP.

There is a similar Olde English Font at Dafont.com HERE.

Don’t forget your copyright and license if needed.

I saved mine as a PNG image.

You are done!

I would love to see your results!

Happy Halloween Tutorial

With Halloween around the corner, I decided to create a Halloween tutorial.

I used my Halloween kit, Happy Halloween. Although I believe any kit will do.

Please go visit my Graphics blog HERE to download the kit.

Any Halloween Tube. I used Lia. I do not know where to get her images anymore.

A mask of your choice or my Mask 1240 HERE.

Midnight Drive Font HERE.

A mask of your choice or Scrappy Bit of Fun Mask 0354  HERE.

Extra grass patch HERE. (Scroll down).

Here is what we will be making:

Got everything you need? Okay! Lets begin!

Open a new image 800 x 800. Add a new layer, select all.

Copy and paste Paper 6 into selections. Deselect.

Add mask from image and merge group.

Add another layer and copy and paste Paper 1 into selections. Deselect.
Add mask from image and merge group.

Resize this layer to 85%.

Add a new raster layer, select all and paste Paper 1 into selections. Deselect.

Add Scrappy Bit of Fun’s mask 0354 from the image and merge the group. I resized this layer 95%.

Actually, it is not necessary to add all three layers of masks. You can always

delete one or two if you do not like the way the tag looks.

 Castle resized to 70%.

Tree 2 resized to 50%.

Tree (2) resized to 40%. Put this layer under the Castle layer.

Bat resized to 35%. Move it to the top near the moon.

I put a Lia Tube on the moon and resized it to 35%.

The fox Lia tube is resized to 25%. I also mirrored it.

And what is a Halloween tag without a ghost? I chose Ghost 1 and resized it to 40%. I also lowered the layer properties to 75.

I also put this layer under the castle layer. See my tag above.

I also added Ghost with pumpkin and resized it to 40%. I also put this layer under the castle layer.

Pumpkins resized to 40%.

Grass_1 resized to 15%. I colorized this element to brown.  Colorizing this element is NOT a necessity.

I also added the extra grass patch. I resized it to 30% and put it under the pumpkins layer.

Squirrel resized to 30%.

Highlight the Tree 2 layer.

Copy and paste Pumpkin 3 and resize it to 50%.

Copy and paste Pumpkin 2 and resize it to 40%.

Highlight your top layer and copy and paste Trick_Treat_Bag 1 as a new layer. I resized mine to 50

I added the Sparkles and Sparkles-1 elements. I did not resize the Sparkles elemet

I resized Sparkles-1 to 75%, duplicated it, image free rotated to 45.

Choose a moon. I chose Moon_1 and resized it to 35%. Move it to the top on one of the corners.

Add a gradient glow, or use the tutorial  HERE  for the gradient glow effect, if you do not have the effect. My settings are below. Play around with your settings and set to the one you like the best. I added mine two times.

Now we are getting to the end.

Add any other elements you want.

Arrange the elements to the way YOU like them. (I hardly ever follow a tutorial 100%)

I do not merge my layers in case I want to change something at a later date.

Add your names with a font of your choice or the one I

mentioned in the beginning of this tutorial.

Add your copyrights, then resize it

to your liking. I use Pixelette for my copyrights and my tag'd by line.

Save as a PNG or JPEG and you are done!

Thank you for trying my tutorial! Please let me know

how you liked it!

If you try my tutorial, please send me your results.

I would love to see them and show them off!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
I will answer you as soon as I can.

Abundance Of Fall

This tutorial is of my own creation. I am using PSP2021 Ultimate.

FTU Scrapkit from Designs by Shelly Woodruff, Abundant Blessings: HERE.

A mask of choice, or you can use my mask #107: HERE.

Kajenna tube from Pics For Design. It was a PFD bonus, and I don’t know if you can get one, unless you get into the exclusive club.

File new 800x800

Add a new layer, select all, get Paper 18 or one of choice and paste into selection. Add mask from image LLM-107, merge group.

Add Frame, element 124, resize to 80%.

Using magic wand, click inside frame, go to selections, and expand to 15.

Add a new layer. Layers, Arrange, move down. Get paper 14 or one of choice and paste into selection. Select none.

Paste tube on top layer as a new layer. I resized mine to 35% and mirrored it.

Element 5 resized to 15% below tube layer and above frame layer on left. Image, mirror, mirror horizontal.

Inside frame, add Element 115 resize to 65%. Duplicate, Image, Mirror, Mirror Horizontal and resize this layer to 65%.

Find a tree if you want. I found one from Pixabaycom. I resized mine to 35%.

Element 101 resized to 5%. Image, mirror, mirror horizontal. I moved mine to the top left corner of the frame.

Element 102 resized to 35%. Image, mirror, mirror horizontal. Arrange layer, to layer above the frame. Move element to corner of frame on right side of the tag.

Click on Frame layer. Copy and paste Element 67 as a new layer, and I resized to 90%. Duplicate, Image, mirror, mirror horizontal.

Element 83 resized to 30%. Move layer to layer just below tube layer.

Element 73 resized to 30%. Move layer to layer just below tube layer.

Element 119 resized to 30%. Move to top of frame in the middle and move layer under the tube layer.

I also added the background of my tube and placed it under the tree layer and resized it 50%, two times.

Add any other elements you want and make it your own!

I never merge my layers. I advise you to do the same.

This way you can always save it and change whatever you want to

in the future.

Add your watermark if you wish, and make

sure you add the copyright for the image you used.

I saved mine as a PNG image.

You are done!

I would love to see your results!

I hope you liked my tutorial!

New Tutorial in the making and other tidbits

A couple of years ago, I bought PSP 2021.

Well, I installed it on my old laptop, and my laptop went out last year.

Then I went back to using my older laptop with PSP 9, and it finally went out.

So, I almost gave up.

Back at the end of June, I  had an incident and ended up with a TBI.

I have been bored for a few weeks now and decided to PSP again.

A few days ago, I decided to try to install PSP 2021 on this one. So, I did.

I now have PSP 2021 on this computer and have started to PSP again.

I don't have a lot of plug-ins because a few are not compatible with this

program. However, I will do the best I can with what I have.

There are new masks on my graphics blog, and I have a fall tutorial

almost done. I will put it up as soon as possible.
